On March 12th, Wladimir Klitschko came by our ward to meet with children. I cannot say that 8-year old girl had a huge interest (after all, he is a boxer, not a Bolshoi ballet dancer), but the male half from 7 to 17 was just ecstatic.
Wladimir Klitschko's visit was preceded by questionnaire which children filled out on New Year's. In that questionnaire, one of the questions was — who would you want to play with? Three boys had the same wish — to play with one of the Klitschko brothers. And, despite the fact that its already Spring, their wishes came true!!!
I, personally, liked the meeting — liked the carefulness with which Wladimir was talking with the kids, liked the encouraging positive atmosphere he tried to express. His attitude: send the disease into knock-out fast — and be on a way to be healthy!
